Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Senior Emergency Veterinarian to join a busy 24/7 emergency hospital in Moonah, Hobart. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced ECC veterinarian who is ready to provide clinical leadership, support decision-making on shift, and mentor vets and nurses within a highly skilled emergency team.

In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing clinical leadership during emergency and critical care shifts
- Guiding decision-making for complex and time-sensitive small animal cases
- Mentoring veterinarians and nurses to support team confidence and development
- Collaborating with ECC clinicians, specialists, nurses, and client care teams
- Helping shape service standards, clinical culture, and patient care outcomes
Qualifications Needed:
- BVSc or equivalent veterinary qualification with Australian registration
- Strong emergency and critical care experience
- Confidence in clinical decision-making and case leadership
- Passion for mentoring, team development, and collaborative practice
- MANZCVS in ECC or similar desirable but not essential
Package:
