Job Description: Our client is seeking a Registered Vet Nurse to join an accredited, full-service hospital providing medical, surgical and dental care across companion animals, exotics, avian patients, reptiles and pocket pets. The role offers broad clinical exposure and the opportunity to make full use of technical nursing skills within a collaborative and supportive environment.
The successful candidate will be passionate about patient care, confident working in a busy clinical setting and comfortable supporting both the veterinary team and clients throughout the patient journey. This position would suit either an experienced registered technician or a registration-eligible candidate who is keen to continue developing professionally.
Qualifications Needed:
- AHT or Veterinary Technician diploma
- VTNE completed or currently in progress
- Good standing with the relevant provincial regulatory association, or eligibility to register
- Strong communication skills with a client-focused approach
- Adaptable and collaborative mindset with a commitment to high-quality patient care
Responsibilities:
- Support medical, surgical and dental procedures across a varied caseload
- Assist with patient monitoring, diagnostics and treatment delivery
- Provide compassionate client education and communication
- Contribute to safe, efficient day-to-day hospital operations
- Work closely with veterinarians and fellow nursing staff to maintain high clinical standards
