Job Description: Our client is seeking a dedicated Small Animal Night Vet Surgeon to join a busy 24-hour veterinary centre providing continuous care to companion animals. This part-time role follows a 7 nights on, 21 nights off rotation and offers the opportunity to work alongside an experienced night nursing team to deliver high standards of emergency and inpatient care.
The position would suit a confident veterinary surgeon with prior out-of-hours experience who values strong communication and seamless clinical handovers. You will manage emergency presentations, hospitalised patients, and urgent procedures overnight while ensuring continuity of care with the daytime team.
Qualifications Needed:
- RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon
- Previous out-of-hours or emergency experience preferred
- Confident in sole charge overnight decision-making
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Commitment to high clinical and professional standards
