Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced Small Animal Medical Director Veterinarian to lead clinical standards while remaining actively involved in companion animal medicine. This full-time position offers the opportunity to guide an established veterinary team, support clinical decision-making and help shape the continued delivery of high-quality care for cats and dogs.
The hospital is equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, digital dental imaging and in-house laboratory capabilities, giving the Medical Director the resources needed to manage a broad general practice caseload. Qualifications Needed:
- DVM or equivalent veterinary degree from an accredited institution
- Current New York veterinary licence or eligibility to obtain one
- Strong small animal general practice experience
- Confidence providing clinical guidance and supporting team development
- Commitment to high standards of veterinary medicine and professional ethics
