Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced Small Animal Medical Director Veterinarian to lead clinical standards while remaining actively involved in day-to-day patient care. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a confident veterinarian who enjoys combining medicine, surgery and dentistry with mentorship, protocol development and responsibility for maintaining consistently high-quality care.
The successful candidate will work within a well-equipped environment featuring digital radiography, ultrasound and an in-house laboratory, with no after-hours emergency responsibilities. The role includes guiding fellow veterinarians, reviewing medical quality, contributing to recruitment and service development, and working closely with operational leadership to support both clinical and practice performance.
Qualifications Needed:
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary institution
- Current Washington veterinary licence with ability to obtain and maintain DEA registration
- Approximately 3–5+ years of veterinary practice experience
- Strong diagnostic, surgical, dental and client communication capabilities
- Confident leadership, mentoring, delegation and decision-making skills
