Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced Small Animal Medical Director Veterinarian to lead clinical standards within a modern urgent care setting while continuing to manage an active caseload. The position centres on same-day and next-day presentations including gastrointestinal concerns, allergic reactions, dermatology cases, wounds, eye and ear conditions, pain, respiratory disease, toxin exposure, urinary problems, and other non-routine medical needs. The successful veterinarian will have meaningful influence over medical quality, clinical workflows, mentoring, and team development while benefiting from strong staffing levels that allow doctors to focus on diagnosis, treatment planning, and client communication.

Qualifications Needed:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited university or equivalent qualification
  • Texas veterinary licensure in good standing or eligibility to obtain the required licence
  • Strong urgent care or general practice experience with confident clinical decision-making
  • Ability to guide colleagues and maintain consistently high medical standards
  • Excellent communication skills with a collaborative and supportive leadership approach
