Job Description: Our client is seeking a Medical Director to lead a modern urgent care veterinary hospital within a collaborative and technology-driven clinical environment. This role combines hands-on urgent care medicine with leadership responsibilities, offering the opportunity to shape hospital standards, mentor colleagues, and contribute to the ongoing growth and success of a newly developed practice.

Working within a purpose-built urgent care setting, you will focus on delivering efficient, high-quality care for same-day and non-critical emergency cases while being supported by strong staffing ratios, dedicated medical record support, and experienced operational teams. The role is ideal for a veterinarian who enjoys leadership, teamwork, and a fast-paced but structured clinical environment. 

In this position, your responsibilities will include:  

  • Leading clinical operations and maintaining high standards of urgent care medicine  
  • Managing same-day and urgent medical cases across a varied caseload  
  • Mentoring and supporting veterinarians and support staff  
  • Collaborating with operational leadership to improve workflows and efficiency  
  • Building strong client relationships through effective communication and patient advocacy
