Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Medical Director Veterinarian to lead a highly regarded practice delivering advanced and comprehensive veterinary care. This role offers a strong blend of clinical work and leadership responsibility, ideal for an experienced veterinarian looking to guide a team while maintaining hands-on involvement in patient care.

This position provides the opportunity to influence clinical standards, mentor veterinarians, and support the continued growth of the hospital. You will be working within a well-equipped environment with access to advanced diagnostics and complex casework, allowing you to practice at a high level while shaping a collaborative and forward-thinking team culture. 

In this position, your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and mentoring the veterinary team to enhance clinical performance
  • Maintaining and advancing medical standards across the practice
  • Managing a combination of consultations, surgeries, and complex cases
  • Collaborating with leadership to drive operational success and growth
  • Supporting team development through training, meetings, and recruitment

Qualifications Needed:

  • DVM or equivalent veterinary degree
  • Eligible for veterinary licensure in Florida
  • Minimum of 2+ years of clinical experience
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
