Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Medical Director Veterinarian to lead a full-service companion animal hospital in Modesto, California. In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing clinical leadership and maintaining high medical standards across the hospital
- Seeing patients while guiding treatment planning, case quality, and patient care protocols
- Mentoring associate veterinarians and supporting professional development within the team
- Working with hospital leadership on service growth, workflow, inventory, equipment, and operational priorities
- Supporting positive communication between doctors, clients, support staff, and leadership teams
Qualifications Needed:
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited college or university
- Current or eligible veterinary licensure in California
- DEA registration obtained and maintained
- Three to five or more years of veterinary practice experience
- Strong diagnostic, surgical, dental, leadership, communication, and mentoring skills
Package:
- Salary from $180,000 to $210,000, based on experience
