Job Description: Our client is seeking a Veterinary Medical Director to lead a well-established small animal practice while maintaining an active clinical role. This position offers the opportunity to influence clinical standards, guide a supportive team, and contribute to the ongoing success and growth of the hospital.

Working within a collaborative and well-equipped environment, you will balance leadership responsibilities with hands-on veterinary care. The role provides the chance to shape the direction of the practice while delivering high-quality medicine across a varied caseload, supported by modern diagnostic tools and an experienced team.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing clinical leadership and supporting the development of veterinary colleagues
  • Overseeing medical quality and ensuring consistent standards of patient care
  • Balancing leadership duties with a regular clinical caseload
  • Collaborating with the wider team to support operational and performance goals

Qualifications:

  • A DVM or equivalent qualification with eligibility to practice in Michigan
