Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced Small Animal Medical Director to provide clinical leadership while remaining actively involved in patient care. The role offers responsibility for guiding medical standards, supporting team development, and helping shape the ongoing direction of a well-established practice serving cats, dogs, birds, and pocket pets.
This position provides a varied caseload supported by in-house laboratory services, digital radiography, and a fully stocked pharmacy. With a three-day working week, every third Saturday, and no on-call requirements, the opportunity combines meaningful leadership responsibilities with a highly manageable schedule.
Qualifications Needed:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or an equivalent recognised qualification
- Eligible for veterinary licensure in Pennsylvania
- Previous leadership experience or a strong interest in clinical management
- Confident decision-making skills with a collaborative and supportive approach
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of ethical veterinary care
