Job Description: Our client is seeking a full-time Medical Director Veterinarian to lead a small animal clinical team while maintaining a hands-on caseload across wellness care, diagnostics, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery. This role is ideal for an experienced veterinarian who enjoys mentoring others, supporting strong medical standards, and helping shape a positive, client-focused environment.
Qualifications Needed:
- DVM license in Texas, or eligibility to obtain one
- Minimum of four years’ experience in a clinical setting
- Comfortable with dentistry and soft tissue surgery
- Strong leadership style with a collaborative approach
- Positive communicator with a commitment to quality medicine
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing clinical leadership across day-to-day veterinary operations
- Managing small animal appointments with a focus on clear client communication
- Supporting team development through guidance, coaching, and case discussion
- Performing wellness, diagnostic, surgical, and dental procedures
- Helping maintain consistent medical standards across the practice
