In this position, your responsibilities will include:

  • Guide veterinarians through regular case reviews, practical coaching, and constructive feedback
  • Maintain high clinical standards across consultations, diagnostics, treatments, and surgical care
  • Coordinate doctor scheduling to support patient demand and a balanced veterinary workload
  • Lead clinical meetings and introduce updated procedures in a clear and engaging manner
  • Work alongside management on client concerns, recruitment decisions, and service improvements

Qualifications Needed:

  • DVM, VMD, or an equivalent veterinary qualification
  • Current New Jersey veterinary licence in good standing, or eligibility to obtain one
  • DEA registration and relevant controlled-substance certification where required
  • Approximately three to five years of clinical veterinary experience preferred
  • Previous leadership, mentoring, or supervisory experience is highly desirable

Package:

  • Flexible employment arrangements designed around individual working preferences
  • No overnight shifts or overnight inpatient responsibility
  • Paid continuing education leave alongside a dedicated professional development allowance
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance options available
  • Generous paid annual leave and extended paid parental leave
  • 401(k) retirement plan with a partial employer contribution
  • Commuter assistance and an employer-supported HSA option
  • Reduced-cost veterinary services for personal pets
  • Provided clinical scrubs and everyday workplace refreshments
  • Confidential recruitment and interview process
