This role would suit a confident veterinarian who enjoys mentoring colleagues while remaining actively involved in surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, wellness care and urgent cases. In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Coach and support associate veterinarians across day-to-day clinical work
- Oversee medical protocols and help maintain consistent standards of care
- Continue managing a varied caseload including surgery, dentistry and diagnostics
- Encourage effective case discussion and communication across the clinical team
- Contribute to the future direction and operational development of the hospital
Qualifications Needed:
- DVM degree with active Illinois veterinary licensure
- Strong general practice experience across medicine and surgery
- Leadership mindset with a genuine interest in mentoring other clinicians
