Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced Small Animal Medical Director Veterinarian to combine high-quality clinical work with an opportunity to take greater responsibility for medical standards and team development. The position suits a confident veterinarian who enjoys general practice medicine, surgery and dentistry while also supporting colleagues, refining clinical processes and helping shape day-to-day veterinary operations.

The facility is modern and spacious, with separate canine and feline treatment areas, a dedicated surgical suite, digital radiography, digital dental imaging, high-speed dental equipment and access to advanced ultrasound services. Experienced technical support is available across dentistry and surgery, alongside access to canine rehabilitation services. The successful candidate will inherit a loyal client base and work with an established veterinary team.

Qualifications Needed:

  • DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary institution
  • Current New Jersey veterinary licence with ability to obtain and maintain DEA registration
  • At least one year of clinical veterinary experience, with leadership experience advantageous
  • Strong surgical, dental, diagnostic and client communication capabilities
  • Ability to support clinical standards while working collaboratively with veterinary and support staff
