Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Medical Director Veterinarian to lead a well-established practice while maintaining an active role in clinical care. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced veterinarian to combine leadership responsibilities with hands-on medicine, helping to shape the clinical direction of the hospital while supporting a collaborative and high-performing team.

The hospital is supported by a skilled team and modern diagnostic capabilities, allowing for the delivery of high-quality patient care across a varied caseload. With a strong emphasis on mentorship, teamwork, and clinical standards, this role provides the opportunity to influence protocols, guide team development, and contribute to the continued success of the practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading the clinical team and maintaining high standards of patient care
  • Performing consultations, diagnostics, and surgical procedures
  • Overseeing medical protocols and ensuring best practice standards
  • Mentoring and supporting veterinary staff and team development
  • Building strong client relationships and promoting preventative care

Qualifications Needed:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent qualification
  • Eligible for veterinary licensure in the USA
  • Experience in small animal medicine and surgery
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Excellent communication and decision-making skills
