Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced Small Animal Medical Director Veterinarian to combine hands-on clinical work with responsibility for maintaining high medical standards and supporting the development of fellow veterinarians. This opportunity suits a confident clinician who enjoys general practice medicine, diagnostics and surgery while also contributing to clinical leadership, operational efficiency and consistent patient care.
The successful candidate will work within a well-equipped setting featuring digital radiography, ultrasound, an in-house laboratory and a full surgical suite. Alongside managing their own cases, the Medical Director will help guide clinical protocols, support veterinary colleagues and work closely with operational leadership to maintain an efficient and positive working environment.
Qualifications Needed:
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary institution
- Current Washington veterinary licence with ability to obtain and maintain DEA registration
- At least two years of veterinary practice experience
- Strong diagnostic, surgical and client communication capabilities
- Confident leadership skills with a collaborative approach to clinical decision-making
