Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced Small Animal Medical Director Veterinarian to combine hands-on clinical medicine with strategic leadership across general practice and urgent care services. This position will take responsibility for maintaining high clinical standards, mentoring veterinarians, supporting team development and working closely with operational leadership to strengthen patient care and hospital performance. The successful candidate will be comfortable guiding clinical decision-making while continuing to manage their own caseload in a busy and evolving veterinary environment.
Qualifications Needed:
- DVM, VMD or equivalent recognised veterinary qualification
- Active Maryland veterinary licence in good standing
- Active DEA and Maryland CDS licences or eligibility to obtain them
- Previous leadership, mentoring or senior clinical experience preferred
- Strong communication and decision-making skills across clinical and operational matters
