Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced Small Animal Medical Director Veterinarian to take responsibility for clinical leadership while continuing to provide hands-on veterinary care. This full-time opportunity is suited to a senior veterinarian who enjoys guiding other doctors, strengthening medical standards and supporting a high-performing clinical environment while maintaining direct involvement in patient diagnosis, treatment and client communication.
The position includes management and development of a small veterinary team, oversight of doctor scheduling, recruitment support, performance coaching and responsibility for escalated medical concerns. The successful candidate will also contribute to controlled-substance management, medical protocol compliance, service capacity and financial performance while working closely with operational and nursing leadership.
