Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Medical Director to lead an AAHA-accredited hospital supported by an experienced team of seasoned veterinarians and skilled support staff. This position offers the opportunity to continue practicing high-quality medicine while shaping the clinical direction, standards, and long-term success of the hospital. You will have the autonomy and leadership influence of an owner, backed by comprehensive operational, HR, marketing, and administrative support.

The hospital is equipped with advanced technology including digital radiology, ultrasound, therapeutic and surgical laser, and soft tissue surgical capabilities. The schedule promotes strong work-life balance, with no on-call requirements and nearby access to emergency and specialty referral centers. Qualifications Needed:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent  
  • Active Texas veterinary license or eligibility to obtain  
  • Proven clinical experience in small animal medicine and surgery  
  • Leadership mindset with the ability to guide and mentor a veterinary team 
  • Commitment to high standards of patient care and ethical practice
