Job Description: Our client is seeking a full-time Small Animal Medical Director to provide clinical leadership within a long-established, AAHA-accredited hospital in Closter. With more than 90 years of service to the local community, the practice offers a stable client base, experienced team members, and the opportunity to shape the hospital’s medical direction while continuing to manage an active canine and feline caseload.
The incoming Medical Director will work alongside a full-time veterinarian, part-time relief support, and a well-resourced clinical team, with two veterinary assistants allocated per doctor and additional floating assistance available. The hospital follows hands-free radiography standards, has Fear-Free certified staff, and provides access to mobile ultrasound, AFAST and TFAST scanning, as well as a visiting orthopaedic surgeon.
