Job Description: Our client is seeking a Medical Director to join a large and highly collaborative small animal hospital in Cherry Hill. The role is structured to combine clinical leadership with hands-on veterinary medicine, with approximately 30% of working time focused on management responsibilities and 70% dedicated to patient care.
The successful candidate will oversee medical quality across the hospital, mentor the veterinary team, and contribute to the practice’s strategic and financial direction. The hospital is supported by skilled clinical staff and offers a broad range of diagnostic and treatment capabilities, including digital radiography, dental radiography, ultrasound, electronic medical records, therapeutic laser, acupuncture, and cryotherapy.
The caseload is primarily canine and feline, although a veterinarian with exotics experience would have the opportunity to expand this area of service. Full-time or part-time arrangements may be considered, with flexible scheduling and rotating Saturday coverage.
