Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Locum Veterinarian to provide temporary veterinary cover at a busy practice in Hobsonville, Auckland, from 2 October to 13 November 2026. This is an immediate locum requirement following an unexpected cancellation and would suit a veterinarian available for all or part of the required period.
The successful veterinarian will step into an established clinical setting and help maintain continuity of veterinary care while working alongside the existing practice team. Availability across the full six-week period would be particularly valuable, although suitable applicants with partial availability are also encouraged to be considered.
Qualifications Needed:
- Eligible to practise veterinary medicine in New Zealand
- Confident providing general small animal veterinary care
- Able to integrate quickly into an established clinical environment
- Previous small animal practice experience preferred
