Job Description: Our client is seeking a Locum Vet Nurse to provide parental leave cover for a 6-month period starting from early November. This role would suit an experienced nurse who is comfortable stepping into a supportive small animal clinic environment and assisting with the smooth running of daily patient care.
The position offers a great opportunity for a capable locum nurse looking for a longer-term placement in the Tasman region. You will support the clinical team across nursing duties, client care, patient handling, and general clinic workflow throughout the cover period.
Qualifications Needed:
- Qualified or experienced Vet Nurse with small animal clinic experience
- Confident supporting vets with consultations, procedures, and patient care
- Able to adapt quickly within a new clinical environment
- Strong communication skills with a calm and practical approach
- Available for a 6-month locum placement from early November
