Job Description: Our client is seeking an accomplished Locum Vet Nurse who can provide temporary cover within a quieter clinic and confidently manage the nursing function with a high degree of independence. The successful applicant will oversee day-to-day patient support, prepare for procedures and maintain smooth clinical organisation while working closely with the attending veterinarians.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing nursing workflow and preparing the daily clinical schedule
- Operating diagnostic equipment within the nurse’s scope of practice
- Assisting with dentistry, imaging and routine procedures
- Observing hospitalised patients and reporting clinical changes promptly
- Keeping stock, treatment areas and records in good order
