Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced Head Vet to lead a brand-new purpose-built veterinary surgery from its opening day. The role combines hands-on first-opinion veterinary work with genuine leadership responsibility, offering the chance to influence how the practice develops from the ground up. In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and mentoring the clinical team within the new surgery
- Delivering high-quality first-opinion medicine and surgery
- Establishing and maintaining strong clinical governance standards
- Building relationships with clients and the surrounding community
- Supporting team development, workflow management, and practice growth
Qualifications Needed:
- Veterinary degree eligible for registration in the United Kingdom
- Strong small animal general practice experience
- Previous leadership or mentoring experience preferred
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Passion for clinical excellence and team development
