The role combines hands-on first-opinion veterinary work with genuine leadership responsibility, offering the chance to influence how the practice develops from the ground up. You will work within a modern and well-equipped environment focused on patient wellbeing, colleague support, and delivering exceptional veterinary care to the local community.

In this position, your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and mentoring the clinical team within the new surgery
  • Delivering high-quality first-opinion medicine and surgery

  • Building relationships with clients and the surrounding community
  • Supporting team development, workflow management, and practice growth

Qualifications Needed:

  • Veterinary degree eligible for registration in the United Kingdom
  • Strong small animal general practice experience
  • Previous leadership or mentoring experience preferred

  • Dedicated leadership training and genuine career progression pathways
  • Purpose-built modern surgery with advanced veterinary equipment
  • Quarterly recognition awards and funded professional memberships
  • Protected admin time built into scheduled shifts
  • Enhanced parental leave and wellbeing-focused workplace initiatives
  • Electric vehicle scheme and lifestyle-related employee discounts
  • Generous CPD funding to support ongoing clinical development
  • Supportive family-owned veterinary group with nationwide backing
  • Generous annual leave allowance plus bank holidays
