Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced veterinarian to lead the development and growth of a newly established small animal hospital in the Omaha area. This opportunity offers a unique blend of clinical leadership, mentorship, and operational involvement within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment. The role is ideal for a veterinarian who enjoys guiding teams, shaping hospital culture, and delivering high standards of patient care while contributing to long-term practice success.

The successful candidate will play a key role in mentoring veterinarians and support staff while maintaining excellence in surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, and client communication.

Qualifications Needed:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent qualification
  • Eligible to practice veterinary medicine within Nebraska
  • Minimum of four years’ clinical veterinary experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and mentorship abilities within a team setting
  • Confidence in general medicine, surgery, and dentistry

Responsibilities:

  • Establishing a positive and collaborative hospital culture
  • Mentoring associate veterinarians and clinical support staff
  • Overseeing standards of patient care and medical protocols
