You will be responsible for providing high-quality urgent and emergency care across a wide range of species, including companion animals and exotics. In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Assess and treat urgent and emergency cases across a varied patient mix
- Perform diagnostic procedures and develop effective treatment plans
- Carry out surgical and medical interventions as required
- Provide clear communication and guidance to pet owners during critical situations
- Work closely with veterinary nurses and colleagues to deliver efficient patient care.
Qualifications Needed:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree
- Eligible for veterinary licensure in California
- Experience or strong interest in urgent care or emergency medicine
- Confident decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure
