Job Description: Our client is seeking an Urgent Care Veterinarian to join a progressive small animal hospital in Upland, California. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic clinical environment, managing a diverse and interesting caseload while being supported by an experienced team and advanced medical equipment.

You will be responsible for providing high-quality urgent and emergency care across a wide range of species, including companion animals and exotics. This position is ideal for a veterinarian who thrives in a fast-paced setting and enjoys the challenge of urgent case management while working collaboratively with a skilled support team.

In this position, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assess and treat urgent and emergency cases across a varied patient mix
  • Perform diagnostic procedures and develop effective treatment plans
  • Carry out surgical and medical interventions as required
  • Provide clear communication and guidance to pet owners during critical situations
  • Work closely with veterinary nurses and colleagues to deliver efficient patient care.

Qualifications Needed:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree
  • Eligible for veterinary licensure in California
  • Experience or strong interest in urgent care or emergency medicine
  • Confident decision-making and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure
