Job Description: Our client is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join a busy, well-equipped 24/7 hospital in Santa Rosa. This role offers the opportunity to work in a high-level emergency and specialty environment, managing a wide range of urgent and critical care cases with access to advanced diagnostic and surgical technologies.

This position is ideal for a veterinarian who thrives in a fast-paced clinical setting and is passionate about emergency medicine. You will work alongside a collaborative team and have access to in-house specialists, enabling you to deliver comprehensive and advanced patient care while continuing to develop your clinical expertise.

In this position, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing emergency and critical care cases for companion animals  
  • Performing diagnostic workups and developing treatment plans  
  • Providing urgent medical and surgical care as required  
  • Collaborating with specialists for complex case management  
  • Communicating effectively with clients during critical situations  

Qualifications Needed:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent qualification  
  • Eligibility for veterinary licensure in California  
  • Interest or experience in emergency and critical care  
  • Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills  
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
