Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced Small Animal Emergency Veterinarian to provide overnight emergency care within a well-equipped specialty and emergency setting. This full-time role is ideal for a clinician who enjoys greater case ownership, independent decision-making and the fast-moving nature of overnight medicine while still having strong technician and specialist support available.
The position offers structured block scheduling, allowing concentrated periods of overnight work followed by meaningful time away from the hospital. Veterinarians will manage a diverse emergency caseload using digital radiography, ultrasound, extensive in-house laboratory diagnostics, endoscopy, oxygen cages and a dedicated emergency surgical suite. Candidates should hold a DVM or VMD, maintain appropriate state licensure and DEA registration, and bring at least one year of emergency veterinary experience.
