Job Description: A full-time opportunity is available for an Emergency Veterinarian to join a collaborative ER and specialty team in a well-established referral hospital environment. This position is ideal for a DVM who enjoys managing urgent and critical cases while working alongside board-certified specialists in Internal Medicine, Surgery, Neurology, and Critical Care.
The hospital operates with a strong commitment to innovative, patient-focused medicine and is equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment technology including MRI, CT, ultrasound, Olympus endoscopy, fluoroscopy, high-definition laparoscopy, cystoscopy, interventional radiology, and diode laser systems. A supportive relief pool and experienced technical staff are in place to assist with complex emergency caseloads and scheduling coverage.
In this role, you will:
- Evaluate and manage emergency and urgent care cases for small animals
- Provide stabilization, diagnostics, and treatment planning
- Collaborate with specialty departments for multidisciplinary case care
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding procedures and outcomes
- Maintain accurate patient records and follow established protocols
- Utilize advanced imaging and diagnostic tools when needed
- Support continuous improvement of ER standards and workflows
