Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Emergency Veterinarian to join a developing after-hours service providing urgent and emergency care for companion animals. Based from a modern, purpose-built facility, the role offers exposure to a genuinely varied ECC caseload including trauma, toxicities, respiratory distress, seizures, blocked cats, GDVs, acute illness, wounds, pain management and overnight hospitalised patients.
This opportunity offers considerable flexibility around working patterns, with options including regular weeknight shifts, weekend days and overnight work. It would suit a veterinarian who remains calm when cases move quickly, enjoys emergency medicine and wants to strengthen their ECC capability alongside colleagues with substantial emergency and critical care knowledge. Support and shared clinical decision-making are an important part of the working environment, allowing veterinarians to manage challenging presentations without feeling isolated.
