Job Description: Our client is seeking Small Animal Emergency Veterinarians to join a growing emergency team in Osborne Park, Perth. This opportunity is suited to passionate ECC veterinarians, or experienced GP vets looking to transition into emergency, who want to be part of a newly renovated hospital as it expands into 24/7 care.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing trauma cases, acute medical emergencies, surgical emergencies, and critical care patients
- Providing emergency assessment, stabilisation, diagnostics, treatment planning, and ongoing monitoring
- Collaborating with experienced ECC vets, nurses, and support teams on complex cases
- Supporting a calm, kind, and clinically curious emergency culture
- Helping contribute to the development of workflows, standards, and team culture in a newly renovated hospital
Qualifications Needed:
- Veterinary degree with eligibility to practise in Australia
- ECC experience welcomed, though experienced GP vets looking to transition into emergency will be considered
- Confidence working under pressure in urgent and unpredictable clinical situations
- Strong communication skills with clients, colleagues, and nursing teams
- Collaborative, resilient, and patient-focused approach to emergency medicine
