Job Description: Our client is seeking a motivated Veterinarian to join a structured Emergency Mentorship Programme designed for recent graduates and general practitioners looking to develop their expertise in emergency and critical care medicine. The programme focuses on building confidence, strengthening clinical judgement and developing essential emergency surgical skills through progressive, supervised learning.
The position offers hands-on exposure to a broad variety of emergency presentations, with one-to-one mentoring sessions, regular case discussions and practical instruction in procedures such as gastric dilatation-volvulus surgery, caesarean sections, exploratory surgery and wound management. Working alongside knowledgeable emergency clinicians and skilled veterinary technicians, the successful candidate will gradually develop greater independence while benefiting from immediate clinical support. Qualifications Needed:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or an equivalent recognised veterinary qualification.
- Current veterinary licence in good standing or eligibility to practise within California.
