In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing emergency presentations across a varied small animal caseload
- Working closely with specialty clinicians to support collaborative patient care
- Using diagnostic tools to guide urgent treatment planning and case decisions
- Communicating clearly with clients during high-pressure clinical situations
- Supporting patient flow across triage, procedures, monitoring, and handovers
Qualifications Needed:
- Provincial DVM licensing or eligibility to become licensed is required
- Emergency medicine experience is highly valued, though varied backgrounds will be considered
- Internship training would be beneficial but is not essential
- Strong communication skills with a client-focused and calm approach
- Ability to work a mix of days, nights, weekends, weekdays, and statutory holidays
