Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Emergency Veterinarian to join a large, well-established hospital offering a mix of emergency, specialty, and general practice services. This role is ideal for a veterinarian who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, managing urgent and complex cases while collaborating with a highly skilled multidisciplinary team. The position provides exposure to a varied caseload and access to advanced diagnostic and treatment options.

The hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and supported by experienced veterinary nurses and specialists, allowing for high standards of patient care. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop emergency and critical care skills while working within a collaborative and progressive clinical setting.

In this position, your responsibilities will include: 

  • Triaging and managing emergency cases in a timely manner
  • Performing diagnostic investigations and developing treatment plans
  • Providing critical care and monitoring hospitalized patients
  • Collaborating with specialists on complex referral cases
  • Communicating effectively with clients during urgent situations

Qualifications Needed:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent qualification
  • Eligible for veterinary licensure in the USA
  • Interest or experience in emergency and critical care medicine
  • Strong decision-making skills in high-pressure situations
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
