This role is ideal for a clinician who enjoys high-acuity emergency medicine, collaborative specialty support, and practicing in a modern facility equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment capabilities.

As part of a newly structured Emergency Department, you will manage a wide spectrum of emergency presentations—from routine urgent care to critical and complex cases—with the ability to transition appropriate cases to in-house specialty services. ER clinicians are supported by board-certified surgeons, criticalists, and multiple specialty teams, allowing for confident clinical decision-making and continuity of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • • Triage, stabilize, and manage emergency and critical care cases
  • • Perform emergency diagnostics and treatments
  • • Participate in emergent surgical procedures with specialty support
  • • Communicate effectively and compassionately with clients
  • • Collaborate closely with specialty departments for ongoing case management
  • • Maintain accurate and compliant medical records

Qualifications:

  • • DVM degree from an accredited institution
  • • Eligible for licensure in Texas
  • • Strong interest or experience in emergency and critical care medicine
  • • Excellent clinical judgment and teamwork skills
  • • Commitment to high standards of patient care and ethics

Package:

  • • Base salary up to $180,000 (negotiable DOE)
  • • Sign-on, relocation, and longevity bonuses available
  • • Multiple scheduling models designed to support work-life balance
  • • Access to cutting-edge technology (CT, MRI, radiation oncology, interventional suites)
  • • Robust CE allowance and paid CE time
  • • Mentorship and teaching opportunities in an academic-style environment
  • • Comprehensive health, dental, vision, and retirement benefits
  • • Supportive, collaborative hospital culture with strong specialty integration
