Qualifications Needed:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
- Eligible for full veterinary licensure in Ontario
- Three to seven years of small animal clinical experience
- Confidence managing emergency and urgent care presentations
- Strong decision-making skills under pressure
Responsibilities:
- Stabilise and treat urgent and critical cases
- Perform emergency surgical procedures as required
- Interpret diagnostic imaging and laboratory findings rapidly
- Communicate clearly with clients during time-sensitive situations
- Work closely with veterinary nurses to ensure coordinated patient care
