Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Emergency Vet Surgeon to join a well-equipped out-of-hours (OOH) practice in Falmouth. This role offers a unique rota with excellent work-life balance, alongside the opportunity to manage a varied emergency caseload in a supportive clinical environment.
This position is ideal for an experienced veterinarian confident in emergency and critical care who is comfortable working sole charge. In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing emergency and critical care cases during out-of-hours shifts
- Performing diagnostic investigations and emergency procedures
- Providing medical and surgical treatment for small animal patients
- Working independently while collaborating with the wider hospital team
- Delivering excellent client communication and patient care
Qualifications Needed:
- Veterinary degree eligible for registration in England
- Experience in emergency or out-of-hours practice preferred
- Strong clinical and decision-making skills
- Ability to work sole charge confidently
- Commitment to high standards of patient and client care
Package:
- Permanent part-time role with structured rota (2 weekend days + 7 nights on, 21 days off)
