Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Emergency Vet Surgeon to join a well-equipped out-of-hours (OOH) practice in Falmouth. This role offers a unique rota with excellent work-life balance, alongside the opportunity to manage a varied emergency caseload in a supportive clinical environment. 

This position is ideal for an experienced veterinarian confident in emergency and critical care who is comfortable working sole charge. You will have access to advanced diagnostic tools and strong clinical support networks, enabling you to deliver high-quality care while continuing to develop your skills. 

In this position, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing emergency and critical care cases during out-of-hours shifts  
  • Performing diagnostic investigations and emergency procedures  
  • Providing medical and surgical treatment for small animal patients  
  • Working independently while collaborating with the wider hospital team  
  • Delivering excellent client communication and patient care  

Qualifications Needed:

  • Veterinary degree eligible for registration in England  
  • Experience in emergency or out-of-hours practice preferred  
  • Strong clinical and decision-making skills  
  • Ability to work sole charge confidently  
  • Commitment to high standards of patient and client care  

Package:

  • Permanent part-time role with structured rota (2 weekend days + 7 nights on, 21 days off)
