Job Description: Our client is seeking a compassionate Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to join a well-established community practice offering strong client relationships, supportive colleagues, and a varied small animal caseload. This role would suit a veterinarian who enjoys delivering personalised care while continuing to develop across medicine, surgery, diagnostics, and client education.

The position offers access to useful in-house diagnostic and treatment tools, including on-site laboratory testing, ultrasound, radiography, and therapeutic laser. With mentorship available for newer graduates, flexible scheduling, and a welcoming local setting close to Sarnia and Lake Huron, this is a strong opportunity for a vet looking for both clinical growth and lifestyle balance.

In this position, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing small animal consultations, treatment planning, and surgical care
  • Using diagnostic tools to support thorough case work-up and patient outcomes
  • Building trusted client relationships through clear education and communication
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain consistent care standards
  • Continuing to develop clinical confidence through CPD and mentorship

Qualifications Needed:

  • Provincial DVM licensing or eligibility to become licensed in Ontario is required
  • Strong interest in small animal medicine and surgery
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
