Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to join a brand-new, purpose-built hospital in Whittlesea, ahead of its 2026 launch. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a growing clinic from the ground up, contributing to the development of workflows, clinical standards, and team culture.

This position is ideal for a veterinarian with at least 2 years of experience who is confident in general practice and enjoys working both independently and collaboratively. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care while helping shape a modern veterinary service within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

In this position, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing consultations and preventative care for companion animals  
  • Managing medical cases with diagnostic workups and treatment planning 
  • Performing routine surgical and dental procedures  
  • Supporting the development of clinical standards and workflows  
  • Communicating effectively with clients and the veterinary team  

Qualifications Needed:

  • Veterinary degree eligible for registration in Australia  
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience required  
  • Strong clinical, surgical, and diagnostic skills  
  • Ability to work independently and within a team  
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
