Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to join a brand-new, purpose-built hospital in Whittlesea, ahead of its 2026 launch. This position is ideal for a veterinarian with at least 2 years of experience who is confident in general practice and enjoys working both independently and collaboratively. In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing consultations and preventative care for companion animals
- Managing medical cases with diagnostic workups and treatment planning
- Performing routine surgical and dental procedures
- Supporting the development of clinical standards and workflows
- Communicating effectively with clients and the veterinary team
Qualifications Needed:
- Veterinary degree eligible for registration in Australia
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience required
- Strong clinical, surgical, and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Excellent communication and time management skills
