Job Description: Our client is seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Associate Veterinarian to join a busy, well-established small animal practice offering a rewarding combination of clinical independence, professional collaboration and high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will work alongside two Associate Veterinarians, three Registered Veterinary Technicians and 17 experienced support professionals. Clinical facilities include hands-free radiography, while access to internal medicine specialists within the same building provides valuable opportunities for case consultation and collaborative patient management. Continuing education, clinical discussions and professional development are actively encouraged, allowing veterinarians to expand their knowledge while delivering thoughtful and personalised veterinary care.
Qualifications Needed:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent recognised veterinary qualification from an accredited institution.
- Current veterinary licensure in California or eligibility to obtain the appropriate professional registration.
- Strong clinical judgement and confidence in small animal consultations, diagnostic investigations and general veterinary medicine.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to establish lasting relationships with pet owners and collaborate effectively with clinical colleagues.
- Commitment to compassionate patient care, continuous professional learning and availability to work at least one weekend day.
