Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to join an experienced multi-doctor environment with a varied caseload across preventive care, medical cases, diagnostics, and general companion animal medicine.
The position offers access to a spacious and well-equipped clinical setting with 11 examination rooms, ultrasound, digital radiography, dental radiography, cold laser therapy, and endoscopy. Both experienced veterinarians and new graduates are encouraged to apply, with mentorship available for those developing their clinical confidence.
A flexible schedule can be arranged alongside the existing veterinary team, with many doctors working four days per week and participating in a rotating Saturday schedule.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Manage preventive, wellness, and medical appointments
- Develop appropriate diagnostic and treatment plans
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners
- Work collaboratively with veterinary and support colleagues
- Maintain high standards of clinical and professional care
Qualifications Needed:
- DVM degree from an accredited university or equivalent qualification
- Florida veterinary licence in good standing or eligibility to obtain one
- Strong commitment to ethical and high-quality veterinary medicine
- Effective client communication and teamwork skills
- Interest in continued clinical learning and professional development
