Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to join an experienced and collaborative clinical team delivering high-quality companion animal care. The caseload offers variety across consultations, preventive healthcare, diagnostics, medical workups, and general practice cases, with access to modern X-ray and ultrasound equipment to support effective clinical decision-making.

This opportunity would suit a veterinarian who values teamwork, approachable mentorship, and the freedom to continue developing individual clinical interests. Full-time employment is preferred, although part-time arrangements may also be considered. The structured roster provides regular weekday hours alongside shared weekend and on-call commitments, helping create a balanced and predictable working pattern.

In this position, your responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver comprehensive consultations and ongoing medical care for companion animal patients
  • Investigate clinical presentations using modern diagnostic and imaging equipment
  • Develop practical treatment plans while communicating clearly with pet owners
  • Participate constructively in shared case discussions and clinical decision-making
  • Maintain consistently high standards of patient welfare and professional care

Qualifications Needed:

  • Veterinary degree recognised for registration to practise in New South Wales
  • Strong interest in companion animal general practice and preventive healthcare
  • Confident communication skills with an approachable client-focused manner
  • Ability to contribute positively within a collaborative veterinary environment
  • Commitment to continued clinical learning and professional development
