Job Description: Our client is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join an experienced and highly supportive small animal setting offering a rewarding mix of general practice, surgical, urgent and emergency cases. Qualifications Needed:
- DVM degree or equivalent with eligibility for licensure in Ontario
- Strong commitment to compassionate patient care and excellent client service
- Clear communication and relationship-building skills
- Collaborative approach with an enthusiasm for continued professional development
- Confidence with urgent cases or willingness to develop emergency medicine skills with support
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing preventative, medical, surgical and dental cases across a varied caseload
- Participating in a shared local on-call rotation for urgent and emergency presentations
- Using diagnostic imaging and laboratory resources to investigate complex cases
- Building trusted long-term relationships with clients through clear communication and education
- Developing broader medical and surgical skills alongside experienced clinicians
