Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to join a boutique-style companion animal hospital committed to personalized, high-quality care. The caseload spans preventive wellness, advanced diagnostics, surgery, and urgent care, providing both variety and challenge in daily practice. This position is ideal for a veterinarian who enjoys building lasting partnerships with clients while delivering consistent, evidence-based care across all life stages of small animal patients.

In this position, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing consultations and developing tailored treatment plans  
  • Performing routine and advanced surgical procedures  
  • Interpreting diagnostic findings to guide case management  
  • Communicating clearly with pet owners regarding care options and follow-up
  • Collaborating with technicians and support staff to maintain efficient workflows

Qualifications Needed:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree  
  • Active Florida veterinary license in good standing  
  • Confidence in general medicine and surgery  
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills  
  • Commitment to practicing high standards of care
