Job Description: Our client is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a long-established AAHA-accredited small animal hospital known for delivering high-quality companion animal care within a collaborative and supportive team environment. This opportunity offers access to modern diagnostic and surgical equipment while working alongside experienced clinicians dedicated to patient care, teamwork, and professional development.

The role provides a balanced caseload of wellness and medical cases for dogs and cats, with strong support available for both experienced veterinarians and recent graduates. The clinic places a strong emphasis on fear-free handling techniques, client communication, and fostering a positive workplace culture where learning and mentorship are encouraged.

In this position, your responsibilities will include:  

  • Providing preventative, diagnostic, and medical care to companion animals  
  • Performing routine surgical and dental procedures  
  • Collaborating with colleagues to maintain high clinical standards  
  • Building strong relationships with clients through clear communication  
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and treatment plans  

Qualifications Needed:  

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent qualification  
  • Eligibility to practice veterinary medicine in Texas  
  • Strong interest in companion animal medicine and surgery  
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills  
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care
