Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced Veterinarian to join a welcoming small animal setting on a permanent part-time basis. The position offers two to three working days each week with additional Saturday participation, combining both consultations and surgical duties within a flexible roster.
The successful candidate will have access to an in-house laboratory, digital radiography, ultrasound, a dedicated operating theatre and separate canine and feline wards. In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing routine consultations and developing suitable treatment plans
- Performing general surgical procedures within individual experience levels
- Using diagnostic equipment to investigate medical concerns effectively
- Communicating findings and care recommendations clearly to pet owners
- Working closely with colleagues to maintain organised daily workflows
Qualifications Needed:
- Bachelor of Veterinary Science degree or an equivalent recognised qualification
- Current registration or eligibility to practise in Victoria
- At least three years of experience within a general practice setting
- Strong organisational, communication and client relationship skills
- Flexible and collaborative approach to clinical responsibilities
