Job Description: Our client is seeking a passionate and versatile Associate Veterinarian to join a well-established, AAHA-accredited practice offering an unusually diverse range of companion animal and exotic veterinary services. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload involving dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, amphibians and small mammals, including rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, chinchillas and rodents. Clinical resources include digital radiography, dental imaging, diagnostic ultrasound, CO2 laser technology and modern surgical facilities, allowing veterinarians to undertake comprehensive investigations and treatment procedures. Qualifications Needed:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent qualification recognised by the appropriate veterinary licensing authority.
- Eligibility to practise veterinary medicine in California with a current licence in good standing or the ability to obtain one.
- Confidence in general companion animal medicine, with an interest in exotic species and unusual clinical presentations welcomed.
- A thoughtful approach to client communication, patient welfare and individualised diagnostic and treatment planning.
- Enthusiasm for maintaining high clinical standards, collaborating with experienced colleagues and expanding veterinary knowledge through continued education.
