Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to join a fast-paced practice providing preventive healthcare, diagnostics, surgery, and urgent case management. This full-time position offers the clinical freedom to oversee cases from initial examination through treatment and follow-up while maintaining a compassionate, patient-focused approach.

The role is ideal for a veterinarian who enjoys a varied caseload and values practical mentorship, shared clinical knowledge, and strong client relationships. Weekday and Saturday operating hours provide scheduling flexibility, while experienced support professionals help maintain an efficient and collaborative working environment.

In this position, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing patients and creating individualized diagnostic and treatment plans
  • Managing wellness appointments, medical cases, and urgent presentations
  • Performing surgical procedures appropriate to clinical experience
  • Guiding pet owners through findings, recommendations, and follow-up care
  • Contributing to efficient case coordination and consistent medical standards

Qualifications Needed:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited university
  • Current California veterinary licence in good standing
  • Confidence delivering high-quality small animal medicine
  • Clear and empathetic client communication abilities
  • Collaborative attitude with an interest in continued clinical development
